Cookies

PLACEHOLDER — the parts in square brackets are facts to fill in before the site goes live.

A cookie is a small file a website stores in your browser so it can remember something between pages.

The cookies this site sets

  • The notice cookie remembers that you have seen the cookie notice at the foot of the page, so it is not shown again. It lasts a year.
  • The session cookie holds your basket while you shop, and is cleared when you close your browser. For a member of staff the same cookie keeps them signed in to the admin area and expires after twenty minutes of inactivity.

Both are first-party cookies set by this site. Nothing here tracks you, profiles you or follows you to another website, and no advertising network is involved.

Analytics

This site does not currently use an analytics service. If we add one, a banner will ask for your consent before anything is set and this page will describe it. [PLACEHOLDER: confirm whether Google Analytics is in use, and describe its cookies if so.]

Payment

When you pay, you are taken to a page run by Stripe, which sets its own cookies to make the payment secure. Stripe's cookie policy describes them.

Controlling cookies

You can delete cookies or block them in your browser's settings. Blocking the notice cookie only means the notice is shown again.
